The Weather Station Website has been re-vamped with an improved layout and 7 day forecast. The forecast is provided by WeatherFlow, the manufacturer of our Tempest weather station.
The weather station can be accessed from https://weather.lhyc.org.uk
The forecast comes from an AI powered system taking accurate measurements from our location, along with data from other Tempest Systems combined with ALL other relevant weather data, including measurements from satellites, aircraft, radars, and other surface weather stations. Read more
The image on the home page is updated every 10 minutes, but does need a screen refresh to get the latest image. There is an additional page https://weather.lhyc.org.uk/live/ that displays a live view of the creek. This had to be moved off of the Home page due to technical problems and potential cost issues. Please be aware if accessing the live view using mobile data, video streaming uses a large amount of data.
