Hi all, it is apparent when you walk the yard that we have not adequately cleared the boat storage places as per the storage ashore request form. We have tomorrows lifts then the last 2 in late June.
There are many items that need removal from the storage positions before the next work party.
Around the site on the ground and leaned up against the Heras fencing you can see everything from rope/chain/anchors/cable/old microwave/dustbin refilled with junk (again), boat cover frames/metal/wood supports (not used this last 2 winters), chained ladders,fenders etc etc and nearly all unmarked as to ownership..Some from the Winter of 2019 or before!
Please, if its yours take it home, if its not going to support your boat this winter take it home.(If it is to be used this winter put your membership number clearly on it.), If its rubbish take it home. If its club support material, Heras feet, sleepers and planking move it to the piles around the yard perimeter.
It is likely that any remaining unmarked or non approved members items could be disposed of at the work party 3rd/4th of July.
