Work will start on Tuesday 16th July to widen the slipway and concrete an area from the top of the slipway to the clubhouse. This work is expected to take 4 days.
During this time there will be heavy machinery in use and trucks delivering concrete. We would ask all members to exercise caution around the club site. It may be necessary to park beside the entry drive at times and areas of the slipway and yard will be cordoned off to allow the concrete to cure. The tractor and lifting cradles will not be in use during this time.
The slipway will be available for dinghy launches but please exercise caution and put launch trolleys where they will not interfere with the diggers etc.
When the improvements are completed lifting operations with the tractor and cradles will be much easier.
