Sails

Hello all,

I’ve enthusiastically removed my furling headsail to have a new strip sown.  I was relying on using the no 2 hank on genny, but it’s a big sod, and there’s no good way of shortening it.

Does anyone have a working hank on jib that might do for a 28’ boat?

I’d be happy to buy or borrow.

A long shot, I know, but if I go any distance, I’d like to be able to get back up wind!!

Thanks,

Stephen,  Lethera.

Hi Stephen. I have an old hank-on jib, measurements:
    Luff 6.3 mts
    Foot 3mt
    Leech 6.5 mts (all approx)
Fabric not in bad condition but the hanks (brass) are a bit corroded. If it’s of any use to you I don’t want anything for it.

    Best regards
