Back in February I asked who would be interested in getting involved in helping others maintain their moorings. Thanks to the following who have said they would, Melvyn Worrell, Stephen Davis, Keith Worsdell, Frank Knight and Ivor Morgan. There may be more, if so please let it be known by commenting to this post.
This will be an informal arrangement on a voluntary basis but it has been suggested that refreshment may be provided by the beneficiary. I would think this appropriate especially any work that requires drying out on a mooring.
I think the easiest ways to ask for help would be to be to send a post asking for it or ask me to do it on your behalf.

Count me in as a possible helper. I will not always be free but can give a hand sometimes.
I would like to offer my help with mooring checks. I’m often available midweek if that helps at all.
