I recently met a police officer at the club from the regional crime unit based in Folkstone. They are particularly interested in people and other smuggling activities and our area is seen as a possible area for this. They have asked if members see suspicious activities such as inflatables landing in unusual places or goods being transferred between vessels that they contact the unit directly on 01303 297320 to report anything seen.
