With the sun forecast to come back at the weekend, we will be holding this years Red Sand Race.
Starting in the creek at 08.00, at what was Romance’s mooring (now Sandmaiden), out around the Montgomery wreck, around the Red Sands Towers, around Middle Sands beacon, around Spile buoy and back to the river finishing in Short Reach at the bottom of Stangate Creek.
This is a handicap race and the first boat home to record the finish times.
