Five boats turned out for the early start. The earlier starters has a little more breeze to get out of the river, with the three Fulmars relying on the tide to get out. Jeddo lagged behind again, blaming the barnacles. Although once clear of the Montgomery the breeze came up and quite an exciting sail. Jeddo managed to catch and pass Cognitus and Neriedes 3. I understand there was a bit of a tussle for 2nd, 3rd and 4th separated by seconds on the line.
