We have learnt today of the very sad news that Peter Taylor passed away this morning. Peter, a long term member had not been well for a while and took the difficult decision to keep Enliven ashore this summer due to his health.
Our thoughts go out to his family at this sad time, especially his son Paul, also a member, who many of you will know as owner of Raven.

I am very sad to hear of Peters passing, he was always very cordial and friendly to me with boat tales and accounts of his cruises on ships, especially the one through the Panama canal a few years ago, I was quite envious!
He also sailed through the Ham marshes with me on my boat “Catalyst” and back through Sharfleet, with too little water depth to take his boat “Enliven”.
My sympathy to his son Paul and their family.
