As you probably know we are in the process of upgrading the club CCTV system. As the CCTV will require internet access, we have taken the opportunity to install a Weather Station. The data feeds into a dedicated Weather Website https://weather.lhyc.org.uk which is a sub domain of our main site. The Weather site can also be accessed from the club homepage. When the CCTV is complete, we will hopefully have a “live” image looking out over the creek updated every few minutes.
The new site is still in development, and there are still a lot of facilities that aren’t currently in use. So the layout will probably change as we try different facilities. Currently the same data is displayed in two different formats, so any comments about your preferred layout would be useful.
Towards the bottom of the page there is an embedded page, which is our own page on the Weatherflow website where a localised weather forecast is produced. The manufacturers claim that the weather forecasting computer uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and within 60 days a more accurate forecast produced.
