For those seeking assistance with mooring checks Dave M has created a new list in the members section of the website of those that are willing to help. Just follow the mooring link, fourth item on the menu. This list is currently empty and I would ask those that were willing to assist, to update their details on the list. If your situation changes you can remove your details from the list.
Any member seeking assistance, should contact a willing volunteer(s) to make the necessary arrangements, also contact me to me to ensure that equipment is available. This includes the raft which needs to be booked if it is necessary to leave it dried out to repair a mooring.
The raft is awaiting adjustment of chain length of a replacement chain block. I’m also hoping to improve the mooring arrangement, probably a work party job.
Mike Hegarty has repaired the two orange stretchers used to cross the mud and they are now available.
