Possibly the bit you’ve been waiting for.
Unfortunately I find I’m incapable of exporting the PDF attachment which includes all fees and charges on this email sender . Therefore I’ve just copied the proposed changes, which only concern the membership fee and the club mooring charge. Full copies will be available at the AGM and on the website at a later date.
All other club fees are unchanged.
MEMBERSHIP;
Membership fees cover basic club overheads, eg. Rent, Security, Insurance and Electricity costs. Out rent is linked to RPI, so all these costs have risen significantly in recent years. We propose that Annual Subscription increases £5 per year for the next 2 years to £80.
Therefore for 2025 membership £75
CLUB MOORING FEE
Our long-standing club charge of £35 per year is no longer viable, due to significant increase in the price of chain and other consumables. We propose an increase of £7.50 per year for the next 2 years to £50.
Therefore for 2025 club mooring fee £42.50
Peel Ports charges are beyond our control but for 2025 the mooring fee will be £146.20
Conservancy charge discounted to LHYC members is £87.66 (full price £103-13)

Good morning , I will be leaving Lhcy in end of May , I’m arranging a mooring at Orwell yacht club, hoping to move bumblebee at the end of May once weather and mooring arrangements sorted . Once back on the water I should only need a temporary mooring for a couple of weeks. I have payed membership fees to orwell yacht club , so I need to know how much fees will be up to May .thanks my time at Lhcy has been good but Orwell is only 1 hour away with longer access to water ,so should make boat life a lot easier .
