Hello,
Mel has come up with this year’s lift out dates and next year’s lift in dates. Dave has updated these onto the lift calendar. There is a 2026 tide time included in the lift in section. I have booked mine and all is well.
Please do not delay your booking until the last minute or disappointment may result! If you have difficulties with the dates please discuss with Mel.
For those doing their own trailer lifts and storing ashore please discuss with Mel in advance with regard where to put your boat. Please avoid days dedicated to cradle lifts.
Make sure you use the bank details given on the invoice created.
In accordance with best practice seen at other clubs and in line with the committee’s responsibilities to provide appropriate guidance we have made some additions to the club bylaws and policy documents as follows;
Bylaw 10 has been inserted which deals with environmental protection. In conjunction with this there is guidance given on the draining of fuel tanks, also in the Document sections of the Member’s menu.
An anti-bullying and harassment policy has been added along with a complaints procedure.
I rather hope we will not have to take any action regarding these issues but it was felt necessary to create the policies to act as guidance to us or any future committee.
Have a good life out and may your maintenance woes be small.
Graham
I just booked my lifts and received two emails confirming lifts in and out on the right days. The summary form at the end has different days as it has the dates from last year. I would ignore this but it is undercharging me a little. Also if that is wrong I am wondering if the bank details it provides are still current.
Should I be waiting for a third email before paying?
