I know there is a shortage, but I am now completely out and so no overnights or cups of tea until I find some gas. I have a few empty bottles 🙁
Any help or advice would be very gratefully received! I am really hoping someone has a lead here.
FYI anyone else who is in a similar spot… I have called and written to Calor many times and they are worse than useless (they always say they will get back to me, and have never ever done so). It’s now been a year since I first tried to entice them to solve the gas supply problem….. kind of crazy that they haven’t fixed their supply chain problem with over a year to do it. They won’t even refill empty cylinders anywhere at any price….
Also If no-one knows how to get ahold of Calor bottles/ refills is there another supplier that cares more about its customers? Right now I would be overjoyed to get new connector and jettison Calor for ever.

Camping International at Gillingham recently had various sizes I believe.
Buy itself a single ring gas burner and a pack of refills, the refills are about the size of a spray can, get the whole lot for £30 eBay Amazon, save using main gas supply

Sheppey Caravans: have no Calor and haven’t for a long long time…
However they used to swap empty 4.5kg FLOGAS for full… but cant buy the cylinders normally £27… but they may be finished as literally of this week. They DO have the 7kg Flogas in stock for exchange only – £25 for exchange.
Camping International Gillingham have no Calor and haven’t for a long long time (18 months)…
They do have 3.9kg propane for EXCHANGE only (£21.50) but you need to change regulator (they sell at £8.99) & find an empty 3.9 (they don’t have any) exchange is £21.50 . They get new stock every week or so and they sell them within a couple of days so call first.. They do not sell FloGas
The Camping Shop Isle Of Grain (Jason) Has 3.9kg propane for EXCHANGE only. Again call to check as he gets weekly deliveries but it goes fast… 07900 685188

Oh I found something else on ebay which is the best solution:
There is a chap in Dartford (so local) who is both selling full 4.5kg butane Calor cylinders for £45 and exchanging for £23. He is actually filling them up himself with Butane and not thru Calor as he and friends of his were sick of waiting for Calor to not do anything. He is called Paul, seems like a bonafide man trying to help folk like us (Day job is for Openreach). I went to his house and bought a cylinder from him already. +447751 890008
