Sorry, no arrival post last night. For some reason Vessel Finder lost me off of St Margaret’s Bay. I initially thought it was my AIS playing up, but Marine traffic showed me safely in Dover Marina. It had been a damp day with light rain most of the day. It certainly wasn’t the heavy rain promised. With the murky conditions there wasn’t many photos taken. We motored across the Estuary and was able to sail from about Margate to just before Dover, about the time Vessel Finder lost me. Whilst checking in at the marina it was great to see friend and former club member Keith had come down to meet us and have a catch up. This morning we have set off in a very light breeze, so not much sailing yet, towards Eastbourne or Brighton depending on what sort of progress we make.
