I’m not sure if the availability of 4.5Kg Calor cylinders is improving, but I have been asked to let everyone know that Camping International in Gillingham had about 10 cylinders in stock today ready for exchange.
I would check first with them before travelling any distance.
I phoned them this morning and they would not reserve cylinders – but as of 10am they said they had quite a few left. But based on the idea that supplies are now coming through, I phoned the helpful guy at Faversham Chandlery (in the Iron Wharf yard) and he told me he didn’t have any but was expecting a delivery later today and he’d had some in stock recently. I then phoned my local barn shop and they exchanged the two empties have had for about 18 months! So it does look like things are improving – not before time!
