Hi Derek, thanks for the quick response. What you have sounds interesting and seems to be what I am looking around. Regrettably not able to be at the club tomorrow but anticipate out to the boat on the tide Wednesday or Thursday. Will have to see if we can link up to try it out.

I’m also using a 45lb Bison – but with a small and light 18ah lithium battery, which cost about £80 from Amazon. That lasts about 30 minutes on full power. The only problem I have is making a good connection to the terminals. Any poor connection heats up very quickly and seawater tends to corrode!
John I’ve left the bison in the office the battery I use is with it give a try and put it back when your done, I won’t be back down in the next 6 days , I think I only did one trip on last charge so should be ok.for at least one more.
