As you are probably aware, I have set up a page that we can be tracked on and post updates on. I have set it up so that the 3 of us can send an email to the website and it will appear on the page. Friends, family or anyone interested can sign up to get email updates when we post. That’s not setup fully yet, so won’t send any emails yet even if someone subscribes. I have copied this email to the website address to see how it looks.
To post an update the subject of the email must start with GB24: Followed by the subject as I have done at the top of this email. The email address is lhycpost@lhyc.org.uk Anything sent in the email will appear in the post. There may be some issues if you send large photos. If you get the option to send at a lower resolution, it may work better. I can set the software to ignore signatures. I have already set it to ignore “Sent from my iPhone” and “Sent from my iPad”
If you want to give it a try before we set off, I can set it to ignore any signatures your devices have. The website is currently set to pole every 5 mins so the post wont necessarily post immediately. Post anything you like, I can delete them before we publicise it.
