The mooring raft has been repaired and is back in the water and can be used to inspect moorings once again. Please treat it with respect.
It can be used to inspect moorings on the tide. It can also be used to inspect the sinker shackle and chain when dried out. Please refer to the advice on inspecting moorings data sheet on the website if you are unfamiliar with these tasks.
It will not be used for either laying or lifting of sinkers. It was not designed for this purpose and has proved unsuitable .
I am investigating alternatives for sinker work.
