The state of moorings table below is designed to give members my view of the risk of their mooring suffering a breakage, at the sinker chain to riser chain shackle. This has become increasingly likely as moorings age.
It is based on the information I have recorded, or lack of it, over recent years. The traffic light system adopted highlights the level of risk.

Tread Softly mooring. Dug down to good sinker chain and replaced sinker chain with new up to swivel. Riser chain good up to mooring bouy. Completed summer 2022.
